This production version is based on the original work of Russian design genius Justus. Enhanced with handcrafted mother-of-pearl inlays, it is truly stunning.
The wave-shaped design symbolizes the Neva River in the northwest of Russia, which flows through St. Petersburg. The winding river resembles a graceful and gentle woman, with gentle waves like her hair swaying in the wind. The spine of the knife represents the more than 300 bridges in St. Petersburg. These bridges not only have practical applications in the city but also embody its cultural character. Likewise, the design of the spine is both practical and visually appealing, a testament to the craftsmanship.
Each of Justus’s works has a distinct personal style with a unique design theme. His design language is sometimes luxurious and extravagant, other times futuristic and avant-garde.
